Bruno Maffei

Maffei is from Minas Gerais and one of the most awarded directors at Brazilian festivals. With degrees in philosophy and film and a keen eye for the text and the human side, he uses his sensitivity to polish the words before turning them into images.

His films draw their strength from the building of meaning, visual storytelling and directing actors. His screenwriter's vision adds to his director's eye to carefully develop his projects from end to end, usually along an emotional line.
